MUHAZI Lake Region
Muhazi is a rich lake region,where Rwanda's tall arabica bourbon coffee trees are naurished with pure water and volcanic soils.this coffee is as unique and complex as the micro climatic characteristics of the region blossoming with tea, spice, and cocoa notes.
KIZI RIFT Valley Region
The steep hills of the central rift valley of Rwanda support coffee plantations at 2000 meters to 2200 meters, axtending from the Nyungwe rain forest in the south to the bottomless rifts of the nyabarongo river that extends to the grand entrance of the Virunga Volcanic mountains. these ideal conditions across this part of the country produce a cup that is clean and smooth, with a balanced pecan and berry matrix bellowing in lovely floral overtones.
VIRUNGA Mountain Region
Six volcanic peaks on the north western tip of the country play host to the famous silverback mountain gorillas. they also overlook some of Rwanda's highest grown coffes. in a climate offering cool conditions with plenty of sun and rain on rich volcanic soils, the coffee flourishes. the conditions allow the coffee to ripen slowly assuring enriched cherries. The cup is sure to be dazzling with sweet honey notes, currant overtones and a lively acidic punch line that is sure to leave your palate guessing.
AKAGERA Wildlife Region
At the foothillsnof the Akagera national park, where the highlands of the albertine rift descend towards the western rim of lake victoria basin lies the high to mid lowlands of this majestic region. these eastern most coffee plantations share the rolling countryside with zebras, giraffes, elephants and other major african game. This cup springs to at you like the impalas that dwell among the region. it's flavors are extremely bright and full of berry and spice.
KIVU LAKE Region
Lake kivu provides an ideal climate for the finest Arabica coffee. With rolling green hills along the shore (1600 meters) volcanic soils and plenty of non-torrential rainfall, this region is capable of enjoying two harvests a year. it yields the most amazing and complex coffee which dazzles even the best connoisseurs in the business. it's complexity is shared with chocolate notes and a lovely jasmine floral scent.
